Well, what I'm trying to do is make sure my kids aren't like that. My hubby's family is somewhat prejudiced (never to the extent that they are violent, but using slurs). We do call it soccer. When I was married, we went to many a match in the Washington DC area. I enjoyed it, although admittedly part of that was the gorgeousness of some of the players and the wondrous way they move their bodies. Those were big matches between nations.
