Helen, that De6/36 is not a common word. Points should tell you something about the uncommon letter that is used. Def: the function of pointing or specifying from the perspective of a participant in an act of speech or writing; aspects of a communication whose interpretation depends on knowledge of the context in which the communication occurs. (So now you know, lol)

I borrowed a steamer from a friend. The babblers Saturday night heard my tale of woe. There is wallpaper in every room in this house and I hate it alll. I stripped two rooms and painted them before we ever moved in. The dining room was hideous. believe it or not the drywall looks better. These people didn't prime the walls so it is a real pain to take down. My back was aching yesterday so i didn't work on it, but I want to get it done. The kids Spring break is coming up and they are going to grandma's. A perfect time for me to paint.

Smaller - I have found that soaking the wall with vinegar water is actually more effective than the steamer. Either score the paper first or take the top vinyl layer off. The vinegar seems to peel away the gluey layer.

MM-a steamer is the only way to go. My kitchen and diningroom had wallpaper on every wall floor to ceiling little blue hearts and they would almost make you dizzie. Bathroom samething only it was peach and green flowers the bedroom was black and red wallpaper. and yes I know what it is to take down paper when the wall hasn't been preped correctly to begin with. My house has plaster walls so I really had to be careful because I know plaster work can really be costly. So good for you. Doesn't it feel good everytime you pull a piece off? LOL

We are ecstatic. We will have been married 15 years in August and this is our first house. It is an old farmhouse (though in town now) and fits us sooooo well. I even have a piano studio for the first time in my life. We agreed when we looked at it that we would have 30+ years to change wallpaper, carpet etc.
