That's good movieman... I was concerned that he is being tested so late (he's 4 1/2 & barely speaking coherently). Good to know that those diagnosed later can function. My biggest worry now is him hitting other kids at preschool... very frustrating not knowing if he understands me or the social reasoning of rules & caring & courtesy.

Drums is a great idea - if he is into constructing right now. Encourage him to build a "drum set" out of bowls, pots pans etc. Show him how to use wooden spoons or other utensils to make sound. (You might want to invest in a set of earplugs. )

Yes Faerie - we had a contractor here to look at the plumbing the other night (that's a whole other story). Anyway, while he was here I was asking him about the drywall problem. He said a thin coat of joint compound on the whole wall and then sanding it will take care of the problem. That is what I will be doing to morrow since I don't teach on Wednesdays.

it's not that bad. The people who built the addition didn't do the plumbing under the house in the most sensible way. She is just concerned that some people will hate her for the controversy or maybe always second guess her...
