Vicuna--Those kids do grow up and (finally) get out on their own. Miss them somewhat, but the feeling that they're actually independent enough to survive on their own and do it well more than compensates for it! That paper grid and pen was what made me feel I still had a mind during their growing years--now I play this *#@!& game instead! V -- Mine are 33, 29 and 28--good people and very good to their dad and me. We enjoy each others' company and the fact that they come home to visit frequently and are relaxed around us means a lot. Definitely a parent/child relationship when they were growing up, but that has developed into a friendship as well. How lucky can we get! Not much more! I'd have them again in a heartbeat! (I jokingly tell people I loved being pregnant and having kids and would have loved to have more, but it's the 18-21 years after delivery that the bitch!) We were lucky parents--few problems and they were easily solved. Any day your kid's name doesn't show up in the police log is a good day!

i worked with a lady for many years who trained guide dogs and they were always either lab or retriever puppies when she first got them--we were allowed to play with the puppy for the first couple of days, then no more--guide dog training rules--sooooo hard!! :-)

Scribble - if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

I'm sure you do know right from wrong, but some people out there can be very devious and charming, and convincing. All your parents are trying to do is protect you from that for as long as they can. Of course you need experience to judge these things, and even then you can get things wrong. Your parents know this, they've probably done it. I don't know if they are computer savvy or not but, either way, they only have your best interests at heart, so try not to give them too hard a time about it. Just try sitting them down here, like I said.
