Yes. One sister, as the result of an awful accident 10 years ago, had very limited mobility in her left arm. Doctors gave her Vicodin and little hope for any remedial action. Two weeks ago, she went to Methodist in Philadelphia for a tendon reattachment, which had atrophied over that decade, as well as her shoulder joint being drained of any fluid. The surgery was long, intense and very painful. Her recovery is expected to be six months or longer. The pain is excruciating. The middle sister is looking at open surgery on the 4th of June for what seems to be a leaking bowel which has caused fistules and agony.
