Thank you for putting up with me. OK, our weather has just gone from gloom and 10 degrees C to blazing sun and 20 degrees C pretty much overnight. Walter has been running around a lot wearing nothing but 20-factor sun cream, as there is a tiny lake in teh dunes here. So he has a speckly rash, a lot like the one that goes with 6th disease. I have several parents telling me he is seriously allergic to sunlight and should never go out without long sleeves and a hat, several saying he's just got to get used to the sun slowly, and several saying to ignore it completely as long as I keep up the sun cream. Your views, please?

MG, first, tell those other parents to leave you alone, LOL. He likely has a photosensitivity reaction. Many kids, especially in the spring upon first exposure to strong sunlight, will get a pink, almost hive-like, rash. We see lots of this every spring.

Ad block and no script are very obvious when they are working...you have to "allow" ads and script to run on a page, or the won't load...it makes it tough the first couple of times you go to a site, but after you figure out what makes the site work, and what is not needed, it runs much better and you are protected against extra cookies and malicious bugs in the site
