Yeah.... We were safe in Berkeley, of course, but we could smell the fires, ourt eyes burned a bit, we needed to take my grandfather inside a couple of times, the sky was orange at the edges, and there were a few ashes falling at the airport while we waited to take off. Climbed through clouds and then smoke when we left.
