OK, thanks. Nothing comes OUT... poor kid. Now, teh doctor told me to use the decongestant for a week and then come back if he's still ill. But you, the package insert, and online resources say five days. I'm thinking maybe take him in on Friday, day 5, if he's not much better. As someone no doubt often overworked due to overconcerned moms like me, do you think I should do that or just wait through the weekend? That's if he's not significantly better.

MG---sinusitis is overtreated in the US, for sure--people get antibiotic treatment for the common cold. But if he is not better after 10-14 days he likely does have a treu bacterial sinusitis and thus feels awful.
