I make a citrus cake similar to yours, but
I simmer 1 pound of fruit (whole) covered with
water for 2 hours. When cool, remove the seeds then
puree the cooked pulp, rind, juice. Could use any
citrus. I usually mix orange and lemon.

tell her not to losse FAITH. I wanted to play the harp since I was 5 yrs. old. My Mom said I had to learn the piano first and then the cello and then the accordian. We didn't have hte money for a harp either. SO I learned it at college and purchased all my lesser(smaller) harps gradually. Didn't get my concert harp until it was 55 yrs. old!
