It was great, sandy! Walks on the beach at lowtide (my favorite!), tennis, kayaking, Scrabble, reading, laughing, and I rescied an injured loon on te beach (washed up in surf) --I scooped him up, walked back to the condo, and we drove him to a wildlife sanctuary--he is recovering well!

oh dear, my French isn't up to this: -- Vancouver has the more temperate climate by far, but not as sunny in the winter as southern Alberta, where it is sunny but very cold and windy.
