I'll bet you have a library system or something similar in Canada that does the same. Have you checked it out? It works like a regular library, you get the book for two weeks or whatever the time frame is... can renew, etc... after the lending period it just cannot be accessed... so you download again if necessary.

i had a sociology instructor very upset about a Parent calling her and telling her she was going to burn in hell because of the topic (gender issues). and she didn't think her daughter should have to listen to that stuff.

yep. and I was concerned that our stidkid choose classes (to the best of his ability) that will actually help him progress as a student -- his goal is at least a master's eventually... so it's important that the classes he takes are academically moving him toward his bachelor's when possible. Otherwise he might get an AA and still have to take a lot of freshman and sophomore level courses as prerequisites for his major.

I guess it was bad when she was rescued. It was repaired last May. When I got her last July, her e*** were still swollen. In October, I found and removed a stitch no one had seen! Now, it's no that bad, but it is noticable in the inner corners and the vet thinks her weepy, allergy e**** will feel better post surgery.
