quite well, actually, jilli! They had made a mistake with noting down the appointment and when they found out it was their mistake, they were so very nice. Even the doctor :)
And the test wasn't as painful as they had said it would be. I got the doctor to tell me what he was going to do and I didn't panic at all.

Hi stid. I am so glad to say that he is doing much better now! We think the worst has passed but he is still in hospital. When I think of Skinner, I always think of operant conditioning and rats. Ugh. I can see the basis of both his theories and his followers though. We've learned some great things in some horrible ways.

I do stid but according to the teacher's union we are not allowed to teach because we would be taking their jobs away. I work with the ones who have learning disabilities, behavioural or mental health issues because they can learn but they need it taught in different ways. I love them even tho it is more challenging. that's a great point -- one of the reasons we homeschooled for a while was the ability I had to craft curricula that met my children's specific needs, "scaffolding" the areas of difficulty to bring them up faster without making them work below level in other things.
