jmc that is exactly what I did...my dad always said "Kill 'em with kindness honey!" it's always worked for me...I worked with an older man who once told me I was amazing I could tell someone where to go and they were looking forward to the trip! I am a Navy brat..it allowed my family a wonderful life but times are very different now...so much more violence and weaponry...and so many mean people then and now...my great aunt by marriage (of Japanese descent) and uncle were taken from their Los Angeles business and sent to internment camps lost their business and everything...aunt is 102 and not a bitter bone in her body...still does alot of her own gardening.
