now, strangely, the movie alone thing doesnt bother me so much. I think maybe because I just sit in the dark, and no one notices after the movie starts anyway. i don't think I could just sit there in a restaurant without a book though. We are very very fortunate and retired very early in life but I remember where I came from as a single mother living on welfare paycheck-to-paycheck...washing clothes in my bathtub etc...even though I worked for the federal government...no child support from abusive ex-husband...it was hard but I made it and will never forget how to be frugal in times you need to be. I am a better woman for it!

yes..my husband has a very good outlook on life and he says he isn't going anywhere till he says so...in the last 3 years we have had a major scare with his health each year...but have made it through each one
