I once had a cheap bottle of local wine from French, from a 'cave' we visited. Didn't drink alcohol back then, took it with me every time I moved though. Opened it 17 years later and shared it with a very good friend... it was amazing. Never ever tasted anything as good as that before or again. Pure luck, of course. But I wish I had bought a cellar full of the stuff :)

It's only about 1/2 mile but bigger and healthier. This place is going to kill someone someday. Landlord won't replace stove that has no insulation and bad heat controls. AC/heat sys needs cleaning and we are both hacking, wheezing and sneezing. And rainwater floods the back yard thru the carport. Minor stuff.

It is sappy, sort of, but fun to read. The only owl I've seen up close was in Binghamton NY, where a little eared owl (I don't remember what kind) was being harrassed by blue jays and we rescued it and took it to an ornitholgist at the university
