Running is more strenuous, but both help build bone density, are a cardiac workout, and such. In the end apparently there is very little difference between the health benefits of running and walking briskly. Amazing, sort of annoyed me!

he went to the hospital for apnoea testing, then they found a spot on his lung. So it was more of a scare than illness. The spot was nothing, MRI is clean, thank God. And the testing is done, results end of this month for the apnoea.

We were really walloped, all over the country. I was a little girl, only 3 in 1940, but I remember the sound of the bombs. There were incendiary bombs, that dropped, and spread into several pieces, starting more fires. We were in the East End of London, but I know many places were bombed; I just hadn't heard of it happening in Ireland.

We went for a short time to the mountains in Wales, then my Dad had leave, so we went back to London, and toward the beginning of the war we went to my Dad's sister near Nottingham.
