Folding@home ("Folding at Home") (sometimes abbreviated as FAH or F@h) is a distributed computing (DC) project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding and other molecular dynamics (MD), and to improve on the methods available to do so. It was launched on October 1, 2000, and is currently managed by the Pande Group, within Stanford University's chemistry department, under the supervision of Professor Vijay Pande.

Folding@home is the most powerful distributed computing cluster in the world, according to Guinness,[2] and one of the world's largest distributed computing projects.[3] The goal of the project is "to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases."[4]

Accurate simulations of protein folding and misfolding enable the scientific community to better understand the development of many diseases, including sickle-cell disease (drepanocytosis), Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Bovine spongiform encephalopathy, cancer, Huntington's disease, cystic fibrosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, and other aggregation-related diseases.[5] More fundamentally, understanding the process of protein folding â€” how biological molecules assemble themselves into a functional state â€” is one of the outstanding problems of molecular biology. So far, the Folding@home project has successfully simulated folding in the 1.5 millisecond range[6] â€” which is a simulation thousands of times longer than it was previously thought possible to model.

The Pande Group's goal is to refine and improve the MD and Folding@home DC methods to the level where it will become an essential tool for MD research,[7] and to achieve that goal they collaborate with various scientific institutions.[8] As of August 31, 2010, seventy-five scientific research papers have been published using the project's work.[9] A University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign report dated October 22, 2002 states that Folding@home distributed simulations of protein folding are demonstrably accurate.[

No 4/4 of the words were too hard to find today and I am almost done with grid so here's a story of clues. My story today is about my dog Jack.He was born on February twenty-ni5/12. Jack was the ru 4/5 of the litter, but on4/5 I got him, I just fell in love with him immediately. He was a little too th 4/5 when we first got him,but he is the perfect size now thanks to the dog food he ea 4/4. He ac 4/5 so silly sometimes. He used to sleep in a ca4/7,now he sleeps w/us.He likes to chase ca 4/5. He also likes to ea 4/4 rewards like bones. Jack likes to roam the Ea 5/12 on nice sunny days.When it rains,he spends eo4/4 of time chewing his raw hides. He likes to listen to Ga 5/16 Brooks so 4/6s just like my hubby.He is quick to get his butt in ge4/6 if he knows he is going on a walk.His breath is so bad, I don't even think breath mi 5/12 would help. I do brush his teeth with mi4/5 toothpaste, but that does not help.Whenever my husband and I try to get close and snuggle, my dog is no 4/6 and has to come in and interrupt us. My dog also like to ra4/5 around outside & chase squirrels.He is a great dog. Leaving him alone does not put him in a ra 4/6. He just waits patiently for our return. When I take him to the dog park, he is not a sn4/4.Jack loves to play with other dogs. Jack has to4/4 of to 4/6 to play with at home. Now it is hubby's tu 4/5 to use computer.
