the best way i can describe folding at home is the professors at stanford U have created a way to harness our spare and unused computer bandwidth cycles and put them all together to work as a single unit to "fold" human proteins and try and map the changes in cancerous and non cancerous "folds" in this way we can better understand it and eventually alter it before cancer evolves.the web site at folding at home will explain it better than i can:)

got an email from a friend. They have a birthmother that's serious about placing the baby. Praying that my friend gets a little sister for her boy!

The first time they went through this they had the baby for a few days and then the mom changed her mind. IT was heartbreaking. Then they got their son. But it's still hard to go through the process.
