was reading back on the thrift shoppes,we have a disturbing trend going on here.people who do not need these shops to keep clothes on their back or something other than a cardboard box for furniture,are hitting all the local shoppes one after another,grabbing all jeans and any thing made of leather and making quilts and custom leather clothing and selling them at flea markets the next month or in their own boutiques...seems wrong somehow... thoughts?

We hjave a thing called Value Village - charities that used to collect clothes, small appliances, toys, etc., to sell in their thrift shops now send them to VV and get a cheque - the money for them isn't bad, I guess, and the volunteer requirement is much smaller (the boom really drained people out of volunteer positions), but the people who used to depend on the thrift shops can't afford to buy at VV - so I refuse to either give to them or shop there.

i have had cancer 3 times,am i know from my own personal experience that my natural inclination was to try and withdraw into myself and huddle in my pain and discomfort and try and shut people out because i did not wish the world to see me,like i was,ill in pain,and dependant for others for my every daily movements.my wife ,bless her,never let me go that to myself,she tried to keep every day as normal as it could be and to share her day with me and to pour her love into me..i would go to your father carlee he will be shamed,embarrased,ill,but in the end,he will be glad to see his girl i think...my 2 cents worth anyways

Tell him everything you want to â€“ over the phone, in a letter (or email) â€“ but tell it all. And tell him you love him, over and over. At the least, you will reinforce the love between you and maybe, just maybe, you'll reach out enough that he'll change his mind. But whatever, you will know that you have done your best to tell him and that will give you some peace. It can't be easy when you know you are dying and you want to save your loved ones from the pain, but pain shared is better for all. I pray that your dad will realize that.
