We had a log fire initially when we built this house crossy, but realised that it wasn't efficient when we had a period with no other heating. So we had a proper log burner installed which is brilliant.

The underfloor heating is run off an oil-fired boiler :-( and has warm water running through the pipes. It doesn't feel hot to the touch unless you leave clothing or a cushion on the floor, then when you pick them up they feel warm.

my grandson loves Legos, books, and has helped me many times on Babble. He loves computers. We leave tomorrow for two days at the state LEGO tournament. The large number of kids there will be a challenge for him, but working on the team of 10 kids has been great for him. He also loves music and can play several instruments by ear.
