you are very correct lbd,and what many do not realize is that in many of the new vehicles,not only is the fuel pump INSIDE the gas tank,it actually uses the fuel as a means of temperature control,especially in warmer climates,and by driving around with 3 dollars of fule slopping around in the bottom of your tank,you stand a large risk of damaging your fuel pump
