it was a salty sweet...was quite yummy actually..not hard to do either you dredge the bacon slices in brown sugar...lay it on a cookie sheet lined with foil....then lay foil over it...and place a second cookie shett on top..bake 20 - 25 mins..let cool a couple mins as the caramelized sugar hardens

While it is heartwarming to see so many good wishes for Nancy Boy, shame on whoever betrayed the trust of Nancy Boy's partner. It was his prerogative to make this information public. No one else's. Now he's been robbed of that.

And what is worse, rumors are now flying about what killed NB. He contracted malaria in August, in Korea. Mistreatment by his doctors caused complications that destroyed his liver. He received a transplant in mid December. Unfortunately, the anti-rejection drugs weakened his immune system. He caught glandular fever, which developed into pneumonia, which ended up killing him.

I'll repeat, for those just coming on. I am a good friend of Jesse's (Nancy Boy).

Jesse wanted to go to Korea last August to see his family. His doctor told him he would not need malaria protection, since he was Korean.

He got bitten by a mosquito there, and got malaria. A particularly difficult strain to treat. It damaged his liver and caused severe weight loss and anemia. He nearly died.

The hospital overdid the blood transfusions, and Jesse had to have chelation to get the excess iron out. This made him violently ill, and further damaged his liver. A transplant was needed.

His partner, Frank, was found to be the same rare blood type, so he donated a portion of his liver.

Unfortunately, the anti-rejection drugs lowered Jesse's immunity to infection, and he caught glandular fever. This became pneumonia. After a few days of being intubated, he died, very quietly, with Frank, his partner, by his side.
