Looong way. I had the same kind of issue after my Mum died. Dad did not want to leave. He did some years later but it was all rather 'messy' and very upsetting when he got v. ill and we did not realize it as he lived too far away to visit frequently. Horrible few months

In the late l950's I went to Maryland to meet his parents.....at the airport coming home...we said goodbye at the gate and the plane was starting down the runway and suddenly the pilot put on the brakes and they opened the door and he was running across toward the plane, got on board and kissed me....ran off and waved.....the passengers all cheered, Oh my, I was so embarrased. I was too young and he had been ordered to go to Germany with him and though my mother and father liked him very much, she told him "No". I'm not sure that we would have made it as husband and wife but we had a very long relationship.....both married other people, both divorced, had children...the whole nine yards. But through it all we had each other as friends.

But I'm fascinated by the universe. I co 8/88 about the universe often. I often wonder about the da4/5 scientists have found about the universe. I have always been fascinated with the universe.
