hmmm - homeschoolers have a concept called unschooling - this is when you don't have a curriculum, you just experience the world and find teachable moments as you do it (worked for my son for a year after he'd been traumatized by traditional schools but I don't know if I'd recommend it for everyone)

re:add ,adhd..they would not let my son into grade one and the public school system unless i drugged him..was a long hard fight and he was diagnosed with adhd,is off that evil ritalin after i threatened to take the public school he went to to court for endangering my son,got him on addral gave him losts to do,and now my son who they called "unteachable" is in grade 11 and pulling a 90 percentile in auto mechanics and was advised to take advanced classes by his shop techer and will be doing co-op work this summer and will graduate at the end of next year:))
