Well my family have been begging me to move down there for a while... we just don't see enough of each other. My brother and his b/f live there in W. Hollywood and our mom lives there now too... she works for him. My dad and stepmom are in San Diego and that's a much shorter drive from LA than where I am now. Plus there would be a lot more work for me there -- probably wouldn't have to travel so much. And I'll probably be working for family more too if I make this move, so I really have to.

busy day - took care of my almost 1 year old grandson (as every Monday) and his 5 year old sister was home sick. After work parents took her to the doctors and found she had pneumonia. Meant I had the baby an etra 2 1/2 hours. Then got home to find that the internet was down and gave up on being able to bable - but then my husband got on - so here i am

Min, that is so, so true in a way for me. I had lots of part time jobs, bartending, McDonald's manager, pharmacy technician, etc. I would love to tend bar at a small local bar.

my Tom's folks were too far away for a lot of shared help, but we tried to visit once a month when the kids were little. Once we stopped homeschooling and they moved to the other side of the mountains it became a lot more difficult to visit back and forth.

Ok that is a good thing i suppose. My friends boy has just been admitted to hospital with appendicitis. He went to the doctor this am and in the time it took to call his mum to get him the doctors had him in an ambulance to teh hospital
