hubby just had surgery for a bad tear in his left knee; surgery was done on 11/30 at 7:30 AM, and we were on our way home by 10... he was going without pain med by Thursday night... already has a great deal of mobility back and very little pain now... don't wait to have your tear fixed, ru

The pressure they face on test scores mean they focus on getting those borderline kids over the line and not challenging the ones above the line or intervening with those far below the line. I think our school does a far better job of that than many do or can. The area we moved into has more money than surrounding areas. Parents are hugely involved -- 100% turnout to parent-teacher night, etc. Makes a difference

I have finished the grid. Now I de 4/6 it necessary to do a story of clues for those who ne 4/5. When I got home from work, I was happy to open the do 4/5 of an empty house. That meant that I was fr4/7 to babble al 5/10 in peace. However, it was an er 5/10 on my part to think I could babble in peace. Hubby came home an hour later and was a he 4/5 as usual. He teased me and called me a do4/9 for babbling as soon as I got home. He has told me I've gotten do 7/48 as I get older. Then my husband accused me of dr5/12ing over men in the chat log.He ir 5/20 me so much, I wanted to kick him in the arse with my fo 4/7. I immediately logged off & began preparing fo 4/8 for our next me4/5 so we would not into a fight. Now he wants the laptop again, but I told him to take a hi4/9. He wasn't too ke4/8 on that idea,but he left the room. I don't care if I ir 4/5 husband. I of 5/16 give up the computer, but not this time. I'm here to stay for the night! Even if he comes back and pl4/5ds for computer, I'm not giving in. This is still the end of my story though. I hope that this has he4/6ed some of you. I am going to go change my ik 4/8,but I'll be right back to clue more.

Une, most of my relatives have died right around the Holidays dating back to before I was born (my maternal grandfather died on Dec. 26th while my Mom was pregnant with me). I've always considered it a blessing to have the memory of them with me through the holidays.

When I take out the Christmas decorations, I fluff up the squashed tin foil garland of my Moms; straighten up the wilting holly leaves of my Grandmothers'; try to touch up the faded ornaments that were DH's Grandmothers; and; once they are all on the tree; I can "see" them all with me again. (and yes, I am a sentimental old fogey too!)

LOL! My uncle used to "shoot Santa" every year after midnight Mass was done. We'd have a houseful of company; and all of the cousins would rush down stairs hoping Uncle Chris didn't hurt Santa! :-)

I have lost my entire family. They are still living...I hope. My youngest daughter's husband attacked me in my wheel chair and I called 911...had MRI torn tendons in my arms and injured rotater cuff and some other things in my arms. I do believe he would have killed me if she had not been there. So, by calling 911 I lost my two daughters, two grandchildren and one great grandson. So the holidays are really rough. This all happened in 2009. Just when I think I'm over it....I'm not. My heart is broken.
