Afraid I agree, mab. Racism is a big part of the problems with him getting anything done, despite so many foks' claims it's not. After 8 years of what preceded him, there's no way he could recover in 4, let alone 2-3 years. Everyone seems to overlook that. And the former prez had how many years of gov't experience, and look at the mess he left. If the presidency were a case of just doing what he wanted to do, carte blanche, I think things would be different. But that's not how this political system works.
