Stainless steel is very easy to clean, unlike the white bobbly sinks my contractor installed. They stain like hell and will not clean up like new.

Yes. Years ago there were ants chewing on the beams that sit on the foundation so when I bot the house I had it fumigated and killed them. I didn't know that the damage cud encourage rot. Lucky for us, as the corner settled, a pipe to the washer burst and the damage was discovered when he went under the house to fix the leak

it freaked me out a lot but my husband is much calmer by nature. That helped. Then he had the talent and the tools to do the whole job himself. He was in the crawlspace and I was outside handing him things and raising and lowering the jacks. that saved us thousands too
