say, i have a pseudo-medical question. my husband always says weight loss is simple, calories burned more than calories eaten. but i know this is not completely true, you eat too little and your metabolism slows down. well, when i had my tonsils out at the end of the year, i obviously was eating little. i lost 7 pounds, then gained back 14. i am trying to work on reducing that a bit, but it seems like my metabolism is REALLY resisting it. if your metab slows like that, how long does it take to return to normal, do you think? or does it never?!

reading back on weight issues,scrab may or may not confirm this but there is fat,then there is FAT.i am consistantly 40 pounds over my optimum weight,but i hike,rock climb,go canoeing,so i am very active my BP is fine ,my heart is strong,my colesterol is 96!!! so keeping active imho would be the first line of attack then just add more healthy snacks,do not even call it a diet per se,just do fun activities
