I am so glad about it grannyrose. One of my colleagues had a fall accident when nursing (which she then gave up cos they didnt offer gradual return) and later had a related accident in our work which led to a local court case to get compensation (she won!).

lyn: my terrible teen and I are doing ok. My love had a long talk with him, which didn't seem to work much but did a lot beneath the surface. Yesterday I had a long talk with Tim too, listened very well but also had my say. He told me he cannot stand being called to tasks or being reminded of them in an irritated way. He asks that we try and always ask nicely, even if he has forgotten for the 1000th time. We agreed to try that, but asked him in return to take his tasks more seriously, to take responsibility for them AND for forgetting them.

Thanks so much Gwen. I already threw out thousands of books which needed to go anyway. I saved many more in air-tight cartons for future cleaning. I have a problem in the laundry room which because of no smell went unnoticed for years, then I move some cartons of books in the room next to laundry and Bingo - the kind of unwelcome surprise.So you can see why I am so grateful!
