no, really, there are usually scads of clues in the chog, which I'd have gotten along the way if I'd been here from the start, so I tend to read back before I ever say a thing. Then I don't want to see the list unless absolutely necessary. In fact I have way more fun on those nights when there's no list at all.

the thing is, when people ask for stats which are already provided in the list, they are diverting another player from solving the puzzle. Asking for a clever clue is a different matter and fun for the provider.
