we have a honda generator, technically a portable, but it runs the well, the furnace and the lights, we have an extra plug at the power box to plug it in, and it's propane, so we have a line from our tank to the generator as well as the one to the house proper.

The basketball game was pretty awesome. It was not a real game.The players would play ten minutes at a time very ten minutes they would have a shooting contest on the floor and kids got to win pries.One student from my school won a bike & another student won a skateboard.
