what a nice event to celebrate! I hope they are all doing well. That first year for me as a mom was so fraught with "issues" -- for both of my kids, since they were so different, none of the milestones or illnesses happened exactly the same way or time!

yes, a planned absence automatically helps them calm down, though I never lie to the kids. But they are often so anxious, in the low-income rural communities I usually teach in, that anything unplanned feels like another danger to them.

The kids in the more affluent schools take a teacher being sick with a lot more flexibility.

At this point, I have been in many of the classrooms often enough that the kids already know me a little and that alone is helpful.

That is what she is finding, stid. Her two little guys are exact opposites and then her youngest is a few health issues that she is dealing with. Nothing major but on top of dealing with single parenthood (her husband decided six months ago that he wasn't happy) it has been a tough year. Because of that tho, she is learning that she is a lot stronger than she ever knew.

Ps4/5 all babblers! I di5/14 grid and I have said my ooh and ah 4/s over fireworks. Now here is a story. I would not be so 4/5 on the idea of visiting to a nu6/24 beach. There are many reasons why I would not do this. First, I couldn't sp6/24 around in the ocean with other nu7/36 Also my hi 4/6 are too wide and I am not th 4/5 enough for people to see me naked. People would hi 4/5 at my ugly body. I would get lo 4/4 of jeers. I would feel silly drinking a pi4/5 colada in the nude w/my sh4/6es on. I would look very un5/16 at one of these beaches. My dtr did learn how to clean and has kept her place in order for long periods of time. That's how we got our first dog: she had to prove she was responsible enough to care for an animal so she needed to keep her room clean for 2 months.
