No, TO, you can't get any of those in real time---must go to the website and watch. Roku is basically for watching things streamed from Netflix especially as well as others. But you can get the entire series (West Wing, CSI Miami, Law & Order, etc.) and watch back to back if you want with no commercials.

I do love my Roku, though. You cannot get any networks per se through Roku yet....probably in the future. The advantage of Roku is that you can stream Netflix, etc. from your WiFi but see them on your big TV screen using Roku as the intermediary. Lots cheaper to pay $8 a month for Netflix and only watch what you really want than pay cable way more for channels you don't even use, in my opinion. Though I'm hoping to get DirecTV again soon. Will still keep Netflix/Roku, though, for movies and TV shows. I'm in the midst of watching a TV series from New Zealand that is great because Netflix streams it.
