450g pack pork sausages
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp golden syrup or honey
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion peeled and sliced
1 red pepper, deseeded and diced
200g mushrooms, wiped and quartered
1 tsp chilli powder
400g can chopped tomatoes
150ml apple juice
300g cooked left over pasta bows (or other shapes)
150g Edam or other firm white cheese, diced

6 easy steps...
Preheat the oven to 400F/200C/Gas 6. Place the sausages in a baking try and cook for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together the mustard, ketchup and golden syrup.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the onion, red pepper and mushrooms, stir fry for 5 minutes then add the chilli powder, chopped tomatoes and apple juice and stir well.
Stir in the cooked left over pasta. Spoon into an ovenproof serving dish.
Remove the sausages from the oven and slice each into 3 on a diagonal. Tip into a bowl, drizzle with the mustard mixture and arrange over the pasta.
Scatter with diced cheese and return to the oven for 20 minutes.

50 years ago the opening address was given by a young man of 25 or 26, Charlie Schweighauser. Now, 50 years later, he is giving the opening address. He is my colleague and buddy, several of us just burned the prarie in his back yard--we do it every year--and we heard all abt the event and all the fun activities going on. I've taken all Charlie's astronomy classes except the ones too advanced for me. He is our renaissance man since I aklso took Dante and Joyce etc--I have been one of the few profs who take other profs classes.

belief me nef, i know what it is like to be on the other side. when i was 17 and half i started work in a pyschiatric hospital and i was on a ward for 2 weeks when i got strangled by an 87 year old man and i thought i was going to die until a portuguese orderly got him off of me.i then went in to my ward gasping for breath, purple faced with a hand print around my neck and the nurse on shift said 'this is what it's like' so i grew up very quick and had eyes in the back of my head....and do you know what? i love every minute of the 3 and a half years i worked in that hospital. alot of people i cared for shouldn't have been there

I once got locked in a padded room to give an injection of Librium to a violent, combatant patient who'd just beaten up 3 highway patrol officers. I was all of 19 at the time; no psych experience to speak of, and the orderly was too scared to go in the room with me. It wasn't fun; but somehow I was able to give the injection and get out of the room before he pummeled me too much.

(Psych was NOT my favorite work place! When I spent 4 months of my senior year of nursing school at the state hospital learning about psych patients; they assigned me to a patient who was paranoid schizophrenic. I'd walk on the locked ward and he would head to the bathroom and stayed there for the whole 8 hours I was on the unit! My care plans with the whole "therapeutic interactions" were miserable!

i remember when we had the same sort of scenaraio nef.it took 4 policeman to bring this big guy in and he was throwing them off of him and eventually they managed to get hi8m into a ward and he got an injection and we were always told to get a piece of furniture between us and the patient, whichn seemed a bit odd to me as they can throw it and that's exactly what he did
