Ruby, for another perspective, I am not a dog person. So I don't get certain things that people say about dogs and pets. For example, the biting thing. While I think your son could have expressed his concerns in a more loving way, he may not see things in terms of the dogs the way you do, because he has none.

We went in April a few years ago when my cousin lived in Scottsdale. Stayed in a hotel for a few days, then Sedona for a few days, then with my cousin one day. We did a hike in PHX, came out at the wrong trailhead and had to walk back to our hotel on the road because it was too far to the parking lot our car was in. had like one drop of water left among all 4 of us.
