hi Bichon--I'm just back from England. You might want to reconsier Minster Lovell--it's lovely, but the dovecoate is locked. It was still peaceful when we were there, I forgot we had to go through the churchyard but still found my way--but it wasn't as perfect as I remembered. Bourton on Water was lovely and not yet touristy crowded.
