Morning, all. Wildfires are our natural disasters instead of tornados, hurricanes, etc. They happen every year to one degree or another. It is terrible when they do and so difficult on the firefighters having to battle that in this unbelievable heat. A friend of mine knew one of them who was killed. He has a wife and four children...so very sad.

scrabbs, we are going to a july 4th BBQ in New Jersey Thursday. There are no assigned vacation times in the workshop. You can take off a week or 2 at any time. We will, most likely, go to CT in August and stay with Liz and family for a week. They have joined a country club so they have a great pool and Bobby loves to golf. Grant's recliner arrived! 6 organges, 3 lemons, sliced, 3 sticks cinnamon, 2 Tbs whole cloves, all in a pot with about 5 qts of water. Boil for 10 mins,then med-high simmer til it gels. Add about 1.5 Tbs ground cardamom after about 2h. Very simple. Stir it often, and time the full boil carefully.
