when he told me, i figured that this was od, i called the police. they were here in 3 minutes... checked out the huydrand and could see nothing wrong and were stumped also.. but a few minutes later,, there was another police car cheching from the othe4r diretion... then 4 of them... after 20 minutes or so they concluded that there was nothing apparently amiss so they all left, assuring us thet they would be checking the area closely for a few days

Unfortunately driving east and back is not fun - we hit a kangaroo, an emu and a huge tree branch on Fraser Island so car going in for repairs when we get back from Sydney.

yeah, I do casseroles but usually cook them for about an hour as my meat is usually tender anyway. I keep back any left over casserole juice and freeze it to use as stock, which is what I used for the beef tonight (duck casserole juice spiced with a little cinnamon, cloves and ginger)

well, I used a "4 spices" blend (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger). I put it in the duck casserole, was suprised how strong it was, but gave the duck a honey taste, and then reusing it for the beef meant it wasn't too strong
