pugs, she is an amazing young woman. talk about everything happening at the right 'God' time. as you know, braxton is to go for surgery in the next few days, if not tonight. when my son inquired, one of the 'parents' rooms had suddenly become available. it's like a motel room, with kitchenette, bathroom, bed, tv etc, and they can have it for 4 days.

macs are fine machines.only problem is that they are not user friendly for upkeep.they are of a single unit most of them better known as all-in-ones with everything built into the screen. with my "ibm" set up i can swap out a fan,hard drive,video card,power suppy ram etc in 5 minutes.if the video card blows in a mac,you have to send the entire thing away.that is my problem with macs

I think of mac as the rolls royce of computers, steady, reliable, luxury, will alway start in the rain, windows work, ashtrays in convenient places, etc., etc., etc. but it will never be the fastest, tallest, biggest, smallest, etc. ibms are everything else, nascar, formula 1, monster truck, 4x4, mini racer, dune buggy, vw bug, and on and on. More likely to break down but a few are more reliable, most are slower, but some are much faster, most have clunky styling but some are dead cool, etc, etc.

yes,more and more if you ump up the gpu,you must either bump up the mobo or cpu chip and that defeats it all because now you are into the price of a new build.what you can get is a unlockable high end cpu chip and when the time comes you can use powerstrip program and the like to get more grunt

For me the only thing lagging on comps now is internet speed. Once you can download a movie in under a minuet I'll be a happy man. vid speed long ago outpaced my reaction time, got almost every comic ever published and every song I like on my raid machine.

right now no; they can't afford it (which is why they moved in here). She was told last time she was hospitalized (in April) that she would be sent to the state hospital if she needs to be admitted again (she was hospitalized 7 times in thepast year).

disclosure: i have bipolar disorder. you have to take ur meds as scheduled.. i was stubborn for a long time but then ryan forced me to take meds and i saw a huge difference within a week or two so i just stuck to the regimen

I have a DIL with the same disorder Nef and it is hard on the kids the most. As much as it will be hard on you to help her monitor and maintain, you will be providing your grandchild with the stability he needs to grow up healthy. My mother had it, was never medicated and we suffered, all in our own ways. Hats off (and prayers) to you. ((Nef))
