Grant got roped into helping at his gf's church this week with their little kids summer school thing. He doesn't get paid for it, but it is so good for him to have to leave the apartment and be productive for a while. I am going to get him his food handler's permit this week (it's an online thing)... and then he can look for entry-level jobs.

precisely! our old house had a very small stoop with three steps down. I had a rough time when I was canning and had to go up and down the steps to get to my grill
