It was a bit weird in a way -- they had some "dancers" doing things with books and no music to accompany them -- all this outside at the entrance to the building. Then a nice folk singer, then indoors to the program room and speeches by politicians and personages. Then a cake-cutting (very good cake). My job was to stand at a table with juice and coffee and tea and make sure people got what they wanted and supplies were kept up and such. There were lots of people.

It's tough, that is for sure. I have a grandson that is 30 something and is still weird. He is brilliant but has so many issues that I think he is on the brink of losing it....he was never disclipened (sp) in his entire life....I felt so sorry for his father, my daughter would not let him have any say against her darling boy. I just pretend that I don't have a grandson. I know that sounds harsh....but I have feared for their lives as long as he was big enough to be dangerous. This surely isn't saying that it will happen to you.....you and your husband are working together with him.
