Fawn -- lovely -- we had fawns and brindles -- they're in the same family. There are also blues, blacks, harlequins and mantles , which have colouring like Boston terriers.

We have 2 mix breed pups. One is a jack russel/dachshund mix, the other was a rescue that they thought was Chow/Newfoundland. She has webbed feet and black spots on her tongue, but now that she is an adult, she doesn't fit either breed

that's the trouble with mixes -- you don't know what to expect. My granddaughter has a wonderful little rescue, half Chihuahua and half Boston Terrier. He's bright as a button and full of personality -- she was lucky.

We lucked out on both of ours. My Tucker is so much calmer than either of his breeds (jack russel & dachshund) and he is so lovable. And our Ella May is very smart and full of energy. But she listens very well to Bart and is calm with him. I think she understands his handicap and is calm to keep from hurting him, but with me she is absolutely crazy sometimes, LOL. Very playful and very loving!

He has mild case of cerbral palsy and his one leg is smaller than the other and his foot is turned in, so he walks with a limp.

The back is a whole other ball of wax....and it doesn't help that my thyroid is basically GONE and the weight gain adds to the back issue. Am going to see an endocrinologist soon and finally get that taken care of, much to the relief of my cardiologist, since thyroid aggravates heart issues. Hey...when did I get OLD?!!

The absolute best thing to do for a bad back is keep weight off. I was fine after my surgery when I was still 123 lbs. but when the thyroid quit and I gained weight (without even the fun of eating a lot) the back problem returned. Gravity is no longer my friend.
