i had to replace my shampoo, conditioner, deep treatment stuff for my hair. the products i buy are very expensive, but they come in huge bottles which last me nearlt 12 monts. my supplier is a lovely young man. and i always have a little chat to him each time i go in. last year he, i thought, heavily discounted my purchase. this year he did even more so. i paid $120 for products valued at about $200. one way to get me to come back...lol

I had catalogued a lot of my library, but many that were in the worst-affected room hadn't been. well, Tom really likes the idea of a blue house -- I had thought it would be green, but he likes blue (I do too, and I think in ten years a lot of people will be painting their homes blue), and we have several nice ones. But I need to see the big patches to be sure. We can always revert to something very plain if he thinks the blue is too bright.

my last house was a light color, that looked similar to the color of aged stucco, with a deep deep red (almost brown) trim. I loved it, but that was too bright for one neighbor (although I think it wasn't so bad, nothing was going to look right after decades of living next to a stand of third-growth.

Tom needs to "send" me the pics he has taken of the house with the roof on... I took a few, but he has the better camera. We chose "Pabco" roofing shingles in the Prairie Wood color. A warm, but lighter color brown that will help ground the home visually.
