English never ceases to amaze me... I've found one onomatopoeia I was positively convinced is French but turns out to be a proper word in English too.

For the rest: I my less-than-a-week here, this is positively the hardest one. Not a word more than the 40 for 359 points I had earlier today. I'm reduced to trying every even remotely plausible permutation :)
