We (supposedly) have 4 bedrooms now; but the non-occupied bedroom is now pretty much the junk room: anything that doesn't have an easy-to-get-to storage place gets put there. The uncle that raised me had a brother who was blind, deaf and mute -from childhood measles. I guess he'd read (by Braille) in bed at night and giggled a lot when he was a child growing up (he was sent to the state home for the deaf and blind when he was very little, but by the time he was 12 or so, he lived with his family again))
