This is unreal, crossy...I have some of the same symptoms as your and rose! Mornings are terrible and I have vertigo. I already know I have heart damage from the heart attack but after extensive research I'm convinced the issue is hormonal. My thyroid test came back fine but there is so much more to the endocrine system. So, now that I'll have insurance as of 5/1, I'm going to get it all checked out. I also come back borderline for diabetes. Has your wife's heart been checked out?

Yes, and my rate is VERY reasonable since I qualified for the government subsidy. I had a hysterectomy when I was 42 but they left the ovaries. His daughter is a doctor now carrying on his work but they take a naturopathic approach and have many case studies of curing all types of cancer...even pancreatic. It depends on what type of hormone replacement is taken. If she was on Premarin, that is not a good option. The bio-identical hormones are much better. Even though my thyroid tests came back normal, if there isn't enough estrogen/progesterone/testosterone, the thyroid cannot do its job effectively. Everything works together, so if one area is deficient, it messes up everything else.

I also like to use a multi-specialty approach to health care. I think they all have something to offer. I can tell you that since I've been taking supplemental CoQ10 (ubiquinol) I have had more energy and feel better, also more alert. I had digestive problems until I gave up wheat a year and a half ago. I also had mild depression that lifted without the wheat. These were lifelong problems that I had as far back as I could remember. There have been also smaller bonuses from giving up wheat. I do not have celiac though. It's an intolerance to wheat. Lots of people have it but don't know it.

Speaking of people like your brother, who seem unable to break free of the injuries of their past, I read something interesting about post traumatic stress disorder treatment. Apparently the goal of treatment is to teach people that they can remember an experience without re-living it.
