tragic story here. 7 year old was separated from siblings and family in one of our ski resorts. apparently, snow fell off a roof and buried him. they were unable to resus him. it's just so sad.

She needs to hear she must take her problems to a professional, stat.

Okay, got on Caring Bridge site. Franks upper endoscopy went well. But they found a blockage in his lower colon at site of cancer. Not sure if it is scar tissue or recurrence, but for now being treated in hospital for the blockage. He may have to undergo surgery

I am also so heartsick for them. Uusue is actually a babbler I met and, being a gastroenterology nurse, Frank had just begun having problems, but was unable to access care due to no health insurance

Just to post some encouraging words, my daughter in law has Crohn's and has had similar results due to suspected blockages. Surgery corrected them and she is doing well now.

yes, I remember at the start when they had issues getting timely medical care under the old health care system there. I am glad things are changing for the better and they can get things looked after more quickly.
