When I broke me ankle last year they put metal plates and screws to hold all the breaks in place. Turns out I am allergic to the metal so the swelling has never gone down and the pain never left.

The cure was to have it taken out. I was so lucky to get in on a cancellation yesterday. One good thing about being retired is I could take it without having to arrange time off or child care. It hurts but I can walk on it if I need to. I am just keeping it yo so it will heal well with little scars.

Hi all, just here briefly as we are at a ball game. Looks like Frank's cancer is back. We see the surgeon on Thursday; she will do surgery to bypass the intestinal obstruction, then they will start chemo. Folfox and avastin this time, will probably be rougher than last time.
