I have a health question: yesterday, he had an off-and-on pain about where his heart might be (lol). It wasn't as piercing as I think angina is and there was no shortness of breath or other pain. Could it be a gas pang that high?

hmmm, next time ask him if it is like a heavy weight on his chest. that is the best description of an heart attack. it could be gas....it could also be referred pain from a pinched nerve in his shoulder/neck.

What is most interesting is watching the study and work habit differences between the youngster group and the mature student group. The mature student is usually out of the habit of school work and studying so, they tend to cram and obsess and sweat the details of every paper, whereas the younger student is fresh out of high school and is used to it, so they tend to procrastinate and wait right till the last second before an assignment is due to start working on it

A month ago, soodle, it was a baby seagull. This baby robin was found in the road by my granddaughter. She was worried he'd get run over so he arrived here held in her hand. My husband is a frustrated zoo keeper. he had a job at the local zoo when he was 14 but his father's fishing partner died suddenly and Nigel had to take his place salmon fishing

Right outside my office windwo, a pair of swallows built a nest. A remarkable construction of mud and sticks etc. In the past few days, the baby birds' heads have started popping up over the the brow of the nest, with their beaks agape, waiting for food. I hope to be lucky enough to witness their first flight.

I did not get another dog because I want my independence to stay out after work if I want or go away for a weekend. My kids are not always here. Cats are perfect for that. It is the first time I have ever had cats and I do love them. Not the same as a dog though!
